Politics in Nigeria is a scam 
The vision of NYSC is a sham (shambolic) 
I mean, Abraham Lincoln said, ask what you can do for your country and not what your country can do for you, the latter comes first 
I've served my country but still waiting on what's next 

How do we celebrate our fallen ones 
Instead, the people and tabloids worship the corrupt and top guns 
Life in this wild west is a struggle 
Even Will Smith didn't go through this much stress trying to stop the bad cripple 
We wake up, hoping for the best and expecting the worst 
But we are satisfied with our status like we have been placed under a curse 
I'm pained because I feel I have to leave this country to live 
Only if my government has what it takes to give instead of receive 

My heart is heavy because I feel like a lone ranger 
I mean you, wake up in a country where we all have become zombies and strangers 
Working for money and spending it before it comes 
Only if transparency and honesty made our government add up our lost sums 

Life is easy 
Living here is hard 
I love my country 
Yes you think I'm a retard 

We live, love and are comfortable with our present situation 
If not, why don't we stand and fight to make our country a better nation?

I stood still for 90 seconds, I had a preview of my future and a review of my past as I gazed with lost words. Memories have hidden messages you never deciphered. History is the best motivator; it keeps you inspired. It’s like we have to become adults to understand why certain things happened? Like why your mother left you outside in the cold and you hated her, not knowing she was being the butt of some other person’s joke just to provide for you.
