I had dreams that needed perfection 
I had thoughts that needed inspiration 
Some serious things start like a joke 
While others end due to fights 
Some try to fix something that never broke 
Others are broken but to you they seem alright 
I'm a loner but you keep my company 
I'm boring but you find me funny 
I'm lost but with you I'm found 
I'm level headed but having you makes me proud 
I used to talk to myself, now I talk to you 
I used to walk with the wind, now I walk with you 
I can't think but I think of you 
I don't dream but I have dreams with you 
Life won't be the same when we grow older 
We'd probably have kids to make our bond stronger 
Responsibilities would create a space in time 
Your heart beat would always rhyme with mine 
As long as we stand together 
Every moment we live in would last forever

I stood still for 90 seconds, I had a preview of my future and a review of my past as I gazed with lost words. Memories have hidden messages you never deciphered. History is the best motivator; it keeps you inspired. It’s like we have to become adults to understand why certain things happened? Like why your mother left you outside in the cold and you hated her, not knowing she was being the butt of some other person’s joke just to provide for you. Or why your dad leaves the house early and comes back late to avoid responsibilities he can’t handle, and a wife he now hates. But what are memories that you can’t enjoy?
